The Days Journey

Leg 11…15.4 miles 3182 feet.
10 before 12 ? Don’t mind if I do sir.

We have learned that getting up out and at it is vital to a productive day, so we have a bit of a rule.Sorry ,let me rephrase that I have said we must try and get 10 miles in before 12 noon, we have now managed to do that not just once but for the last 3 days in a row; it gives you a great start to the day and a little more time to relax/sort stuff out later. Here are a few photos from today.

One last thing, when we finished today we ended up at the Exmoor Forest hotel for a few cheeky ones prior to Malcolm collecting us. 2 guys came over, started chatting, then the ladies that they were with came over and we all had a good chin wag. They were all at retirement age, for a good 10 mins or so we all chatted about the walk about CF the impact just normal (to us) stuff really. They were getting ready to go when one gentleman hung back he shook my hand and said with a tear in his eye, “I am very moved and emotionally impacted by what you are attempting to do, the very best of luck” and he was moved….. a real gentle man, little things mean so much.

Track of the day…. my dark side
