The Days Journey

Leg 26 15.6 miles 1350 feet

Children everywhere.

After posting last nights blog, just trying to relax I heard a knock at the door?
“Excuse me Mr are you collecting for a charity? “
Yes why?
“We want to help?”
Oh ok
What do you want me to do?
“Please can we have some cards?”
Ten mins later they had been to virtually every van tent Motorhome on site.
How wonderful , they then wanted a photograph.
A lovely way to end a day.
Today’s walk saw me walk along the length of the
Derwent Valley Heritage Trail
It was hard today as it was my first day with out Alizon.
I was tasked with taking photos of Peter and Benjamin hope they are ok with a bit of luck Lamb will be back soon and the job can pass back to her or some of the pictures will end up in the pub!
Over 112 miles this week we need a rest.
Track of the day is a stomping one picked by Mr Chris Wallace
Fitting very fitting
